Frank Elwood Grafton

Frank Grafton, age 79, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2023. He was born in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan where his father was serving in World War II.

Frank is survived by his wife Alice, son Andy (Tonya), daughter-in-law Meg, and stepdaughter Carol (Bill). Preceded in death by son Charles and stepson Marcus. He is also survived by four grandsons and one great granddaughter.

Shortly after Franks birth him and his mother moved back to Springfield, OH. He attended St. Raphael and graduated from Catholic Central High School where he was the Salutatory. He attended the University of Cincinnati and The Ohio State University. While attending Ohio State he knew he was going to be drafted. He joined the Marines where he served in the Vietnam War.

Frank was an avid OSU football fan win or lose. He attended Beechwold Christian Church. Frank was an insurance claims adjuster for several companies and field investigator for Equifax. In 1996 he started his own business of Professional Public Record Searches until retirement in 2014.

A Memorial Service will be held on May 6^th at Beechwold Christian Church (280 Morse Rd. Columbus, OH 43214). Family will receive friends 10:00 am – 12:00 pm with memorial to follow. Interment will take place on May 7^th at Stonelick Township Cemetery (457 Broadway Owensville, OH 45160) at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Beechwold Christian Church, Tunnels for Towers or to the Wounded Warrior Project.
