Floyd Collins, a devoted son, brother, uncle, and cousin, passed away on December 29, 2024, at the age of 69 in Dublin, Ohio. Born on August 5, 1955, in Covington, Kentucky, Floyd was the beloved son of Armer Ray Collins and Judy Nadine Collins. His life journey took him through Cincinnati, Ohio, and Plant City, Florida, before he settled in Dublin, where he spent the last 38 years of his life.
Floyd followed in his father's footsteps, dedicating his career to working in a meat processing plant. His hard work and commitment to his craft were a reflection of the values instilled in him by his parents.
Floyd was a man of simple pleasures and a big heart. He found joy in the beauty of a well-played golf game, the stories and adventures captured in his favorite movies, and the laughter and warmth of family gatherings. His welcoming spirit and gentle humor made him the heart of these gatherings, creating cherished memories that will be treasured by all who knew him.
Above all, Floyd will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family. His kindness, generosity, and selflessness left an indelible mark on the lives he touched. He was the kind of man who made those around him feel valued and cared for, a legacy of love that will endure forever.

A memorial service to honor Floyd’s life will be held on January 11, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Shaw-Davis Funeral Home in Clintonville, Ohio.
Floyd’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him, especially his surviving brothers, Harol Collins of Bellefontaine, Ohio, and Roger Collins of Panama City, Florida.
