Eugene Kelly

Gene was born Jan. 14, 1947, he left this world Sept. 7, 2017 at the age of 70 years old to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Gene is proceeded in death by his parent’s John and Elsie Kelly, special friend and companion Cheryl Coleman. Gene is survived by his wife Bettina (Tina) Kelly, Brother Bruce (Diana) Kelly, son’s Mike (Melissa) Kelly, Pat (Jenna) Kelly, daughter Diana (Dee-Dee) Kelly, grandchildren Grace, Rachel and Jackson Kelly, 7 step-grandchildren, nephew Ben (Sarah) Kelly, step-daughter Jme (Nate) McIlwain. Special friend David Coleman and sons, and faithful companion (furbaby) Kai.

Gene was born in Chicago and moved to Bexley, Ohio as a child. He graduated from Alumni of Bexley Class of 1965. He was a life time member of C.O.O.S.E Train Club. He was an avid lover and collector of trains. He served in the Military for 4 years in the U.S. Navy Submarine Service.

Officiating the memorial service will be Pastor Richard Eader which will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 E. Broad St. Columbus, Ohio on Monday, Sept. 25, 2017 from 2:30 – 3:30 pm.

A special thanks to Heartland Hospice for all the love and care shown to Gene and family. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Heartland Hospice.

Friends and family will get together following the memorial service at Spaghetti Warehouse, 397 W. Broad St. Columbus, Ohio at 4:30 pm, Please RSVP.
