Emma Lou Rupe

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Emma L. Rupe (Byrom) age 64, born May 5th 1960 in Charleston, WV, passed away on March 8th 2025 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She is proceeded in death by her parents Woodrow and Mary Byrom. Emma is survived by her husband of 45 years Michael, son Christopher (Amy) Rupe, grandchildren Ava, Carter, Chase and her daughter Amanda Rupe.

She is survived by her sisters Vera Rudolph, Vicky (John) Miller, Leeann (Mike) Meade, Nannette (Mark) Mollett, Kimberly (Terry) Climer and brother Butch (Chrissy) Byrom. Emma is survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Emma’s interests were traveling, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Genoa Baptist Church. She sang in the Genoa Celebration Choir and was a volunteer in Sunday School. She lived a life full of love, generosity and an unwavering commitment to her family, friends and community. Emma was employed by Chase Bank for the last 15 years.

A memorial service will be held at Genoa Baptist Church 7562 Lewis Center Rd. Westerville, OH 43082. Viewing hours are Friday March 14, 2025 from 5-7:30 PM with a funeral service to begin at 7:30 PM. On Saturday March 15, 2025 a burial will be held at 10:00 AM at Northlawn Memory Gardens 7060 OH Rt. 3, Westerville, OH. Followed by a luncheon at Genoa Baptist Church.
