Elroy Meyer

Elroy P. Meyer, age 75, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Kobacker House with his family by his side. Born in Ashland, Wisconsin. Graduated from Edina High School in Minnesota. Graduated with an Associates in Business from Minneapolis Business College. Veteran of Army National Guard. He retired from a successful career in manufacturing where he held various leadership positions. He enjoyed many outdoor activities and anything that included his grandkids. Preceded by parents Paul Meyer and Dorothy Lesperance-Melin, step father Ralph Melin. Survived by his wife Charlene of 52 years, sons Jason (Gwen) and Chad (Tara), grandchildren Colin, Elise, Addison and Ryan; sisters Shelley (Ed) Clary, Joyce (Conrad) Young and Wendy (Mark) Elke. After retirement he worked for Bankers Insurance, The Great Indoors and Cabela's. Family will receive friends Tuesday 5:30 to 7:30 pm at SHAW-DAVIS FUNERAL HOMES 4341 N. High St. On  Wednesday December 12th at 11:00 am a memorial service will be held at LEWIS CENTER UNITED METHODIST CHURCH 1081 Lewis Center Rd, Lewis Center, OH. Please visit www.shaw-davis.com.
