Elena Thompson

On Saturday, August 10th, 2019 God called Elena Thompson home at the age of 51.
Elena was born on September 13th, 1967 in Columbus Ohio to Richard and Nileta Thomas.
Beloved, Daughter, Mother, Sister and friend. She was known for her adventurous soul, and outgoing personality. As well as being outspoken and strong willed. She was always there to help someone, when they were down. She took pride in being a hard worker. She dedicated 20 years of work to the Columbus Bakery, and met some amazing friends while there. She was also a passionate OSU fan. She enjoyed cheering on her Buckeyes every Saturday.
Elena was proceeded in death by her Grandmother  (Hattie Drake), Father (Richard Thomas), Aunt (Naza James) and Cousin (Rucaa Cousar)
Survived by her Mother (Nileta Thomas), Daughters (Shaleta Powell, Shaléna Bryant, and Danyell Weather), Grandchildren (Areaunna Bowers and Kendall Fields III), Siblings (Juan Thomas, Tono Thomas, Chelsea Dewberry and Wykema Thomas)
A funeral service will be held on Saturday August 17th 2019 at True Vine Church of Apostolic Faith, 3496 Central Ave., Urbancrest, OH 43123 at 12:00pm
