Eileen M Birk

Eileen M. Birk passed away at the age of 101 on January 21, 2024 at Bickford Senior Living. She was born on October 26, 1922 in Queens, New York to parents William  and Helen (Marton) McBride. Eileen married Danny Deeds which ended in divorce. 

   Staying active was associated in her life starting from high school basketball where she was given the nickname "little one" after being the leading scorer. She also enjoyed golf, and playing the piano. Eileen enjoyed dancing in the Broadway travel shows, especially "The Louisiana Purchase". She also enjoyed being hostess at "The Maramor" restaurant in Columbus. During her life, she lived in Florida, New York, and Columbus Ohio.

Eileen is predeceased by brothers and sister: William, Jerry, Walter, Johnny and Mary Ellen; second husband Hubbard Lindenberg, third husband Carl Lindenberg in dissolution, fourth husband Matt Birk and then became widowed. 

Eileen leaves behind a son, Gary W.(Deborah) Deeds.  Grandchildren: Rebecca (Frank) Nixon and Douglas (Rebecca) Deeds. Great-grandchildren: Kira, Anna and Morgan Nixon.
