Edith Dolores Spears

Edith Delores Spears passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 31, 2024 in Dayton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years Virgil, parents Wilbur and Margaret Myers, and siblings Jim, Lloyd, Keith and Lois. 

 She is survived by her sons Ken and David (Kitty) and Gia Randall. Edie is also survived by her 9 grandchildren David (Laurie), Maureen (Zack), Alysha (Jordan), Bethany (Patrick), Tavis (Ian), Erin (Chad), Colin, Kali (Brandon) and Chad and 7 great grandchildren McKenzie, Rylee, Ethan, Aiden, Hannah, April and Jax. She was especially close to her surviving sisters Vera, Shirley, Joanne, Marge and Janet. 

 Edie was kind, compassionate and a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed for so many things, including her cooking, her famous carmels and wonderful sense of humor.

 Edie was deeply loved by her family and will be missed more than we can put into words.
