Dorothy Pszenny

May 9, 1924 — January 15, 2017

Dorothy M. (Cramer) Pszenny, age 92, of Westerville passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, January 15, 2017. Dorothy was born in Hempstead, New York on May 9, 1924 to the late Richard and Merle Myers. She met her first husband, Kenneth Dale Cramer, when they were neighbors as young children. They married on September 8, 1947 and began their life together in Vandalia. He preceded her in death in 1972. She married Ted Pszenny in 1976 and they lived in Florida until he passed away in 2003.  Dorothy is survived by her children Ken (Patty) Cramer, Kris (Robert) Koch, and Kurt (Shelley) Cramer. In addition, she leaves behind three grandchildren Josh (Julie) Koch, Nikki (Mike) Tighe, and Kacey Cramer and five great-grandchildren Zak, Jacob, and Josh Koch and Alex and Erin Tighe. Dorothy was very proud to have served her country as a Navy Wave and was delighted to receive the opportunity to go on the Honor Flight to Washington DC in 2015. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Villages of Westerville on Sunday, January 29 at 1:30 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to Mount Carmel Hospice, c/o Mount Carmel Foundation, 6150 E.
