Dorothy Mae Blankenship, age 92, on Aug 27, 2017. She was born Nov 27, 1924 in Maxwell, WV to parents Lee Onas Smith and Blanche Beatrice Smith. Preceded in death by parents, husbands William J. Burchfield and Ervin H. Blankenship; son Arthur Lee Burchfield; daughter Ruth Ann Burchfield; brother Robert Smith; sisters Alice Smith, Evelyn Bateman and Ruth Fincher. Survived by son Richard (Diane) Burchfield; daughter Linda (Rex) Hazlett; grandchildren Linda, William, Sandra, Laura, Jeff, Leslie, Michelle and Amy; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; brother Roy Smith of Murray City and sister Elizabeth Gibson of Logan. Loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 11:00 am – Noon at the SHAW-DAVIS FUNERAL HOMES, 34 W 2nd Ave Columbus, OH 43201. Where funeral service will follow at 12 Noon. Private interment Green Lawn Cemetery. Pastor Frank Waters officiating.
