Dorothy Bingham

Dorothy Gordon Bingham, 90, passed away on January 13, 2020 at Crowne Point Care Facility, in Columbus, Ohio, with her daughters, after a lengthy illness.

She was born on November 4, 1929, in Columbus, Ohio. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents John and Angelina Gordon, siblings, and her late husband Ray Bingham.

Dorothy is survived by her two daughters Cindy Grissom and Anita (Dan) Collins, five grandchildren, one great grandchild, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held in her honor on Friday, January 17, 2020 at the Shaw-Davis Funeral Homes, Clintonville Chapel 4341 North High Street Columbus, Ohio 43214.  The family will receive guests from 4 -6pm, with the service beginning at 5 pm.

Dorothy was an avid fan of The Ohio State University.  It is suggested that everyone wear their favorite OSU/Buckeye apparel in honor of Dorothy.

A special thank you to the Memory Care Unit of Crowne Pointe Care Center for their loving and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dorothy’s name can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
