Donna Jane (Meyer) Wyatt, born in 1924 to parents Frank and Elizabeth Meyer, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2016. Throughout her life Donna lived in Grand Rapids and Jackson, MI; Muncie, IN; Cincinnati, Oh; Naples, FL, and Columbus, OH, forming many friendships. Her favorite home was her cottage on Crystal Lake in Beulah, MI, where she spent 91 summers. A graduate of the University of Michigan, Donna enjoyed reading, attending lectures, tutoring children, staying informed of current events, and gardening. Always a lady, she continued to be mentally strong throughout her life. Preceded in death by her husband, John Wyatt. Survived by her children: John (Tammy) Wyatt, Carolyn (Ross) Carlson, and Tom (Lorraine) Wyatt, plus seven grandchildren: Sarah (John) Wyatt, John (Lindsay) Wyatt, Ashley (Travis) Pate, Trevor (Laura) Carlson, Chris Wyatt, Jenna Wyatt, John Wyatt; two great grandchildren; siblings: Jo (Ted) Brundidge and Jim (Nancy) Meyer; sister-in-law: Virginia Hewitt; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial will be held this summer at the family cottage in Michigan.
