Dolores Roberts

ROBERTS, Dolores Jeanne Gebert, 84, of Gahanna, OH, peacefully passed away into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on Friday, November 26, 2021. She is survived by her three children, Kimberly Lynn (Brad) Mann of Kenosha, Wisconsin; Alvin Michael Roberts of Galloway, OH; and Brian Scott (Laura) Roberts of Gahanna, OH. They also have four grandchildren: Aaron (Allison) Mann, Angela Mann, Katherine Mann, and Allison Roberts. She is also survived by sisters, Rebecca (John) Blain of Loveland, OH; and Linda (Daniel) Nordheim of Rockford, Illinois. She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Alvin L. Roberts; and her parents Gladys and Arthur Gebert. Jeanne, as she insisted on being called, put her Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University and her Master’s Degree from Central Michigan to use working for the Ohio Commission for Children and then joining the Governor's Office of Criminal Justice Services as a grant management representative. Her favorite past times were doing clown ministry as Charity Hope-n-Joy accompanied by her two geese, Goodness and Mercy. Jeanne was a faithful servant of her Lord and Savior where she worshipped as a member of the Community of Christ in Reynoldsburg and also served as pastor for two years. It is Jeanne’s prayer that all who know and care about her will experience the personal love of Jesus Christ and will remain faithful to Him for the remainder of their lives. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Mount Carmel Hospice and to Sunrise of Gahanna for their unwavering patience, support, love and care for our mother.
