Diane Helen Fox,89, passed away Friday, February 23, 2018 where she lived at Brookdale Chestnut Hill senior living facility in Columbus, OH. Diane was born January 11, 1929 in Madison, WI to Curtis and Helen Linsley. She was married to Dean Stanley Fox, Jr. for 66 years before he passed away in 2016. Together they raised three children. After retiring, they moved to Ohio.
Diane loved life and exploring the beautiful world around her. She loved sports and was an active golfer for many years. She had a keen eye for colors, a love of art, and a vivid curiosity which made her a life-long learner. She was known by many for her beautiful handmade cards which were pieces of artwork. Throughout their married life, she and her husband traveled with their camper to see new places, often meeting friends & family members along the way.
She is survived by two sons, Dean (Susie) Fox, of Blacklick, OH and Eric (Susan) Fox of Auburn, CA; a sister, Lois Champine of Troy, NY and brother, Larry Linsley of Los Osos, CA; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Ellen Copeland; grandson, Andrew Copeland; and two brothers, Dick Linsley and Lee Linsley.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Heartland Hospice of Central Ohio or Brookdale Chestnut Hill in appreciation of their compassionate care for Diane during her last days.
