Diana never retired from her chosen work. She was a Wife of 46 years and a mother for 44 years. Though she bore 3 children at times she argued that she was mother to 4 if you counted Kenny, which she often did. The title that fit her best was Mom. Diana embodied the word. She tried to be Mom to everyone. She welcomed all into her home and her life. Ensuring that all felt a sense of belonging and that they were a part of her family. She had an incurable need to be there for anyone who needed help. Love though a precious thing was never in short supply around Diana. Diana is survived by her husband Kenny; brother, Bruce (Sharon) Heller; sister, Jackie (Hugh) Allen; brother-in law, Robert Hoover; sons, Jason (Christina) Peterson, Matthew (Christy “Crash”) Peterson; daughter, Julie (Alex Charriez) Harris; adopted-son, Steve Whiteside; 9 grandchildren, Taylor, Sarah, Nathan, Serena, Alyson, Matthew, Madison, Abbigail, and Christian; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her sister, Terry Hoover; mother, Irene Heller, and father Joseph Heller.
