Diana Carol Faux

Diana Carol Faux, age 73, passed away peacefully at home in Columbus, Ohio on April 6, 2024 after a short illness. 

Diana was born September 8, 1950 in Hickman, Kentucky to Leslie Clyde George and Thelma Junior. She was the fourth daughter out of five. She was a graduate of Fulton County High School. She married Larry P Faux on July 31, 1970, in Florence, Alabama. 

Growing up Diana was an active member of the local 4H program and was an excellent shot. She enjoyed spending time with her father going to local auctions, to this day some of those treasures are still in her household and made her a lifelong collector of the obscure. Diana and Larry moved around a lot due to his Coast Guard years and work, she always made the best of the new opportunities that these moves provided. Diana was a Girl Scout and Boy Scout leader for her children and PTA President for several years. She was an avid DYI’er and always had a project going on for years. During her years in Grove City, Ohio she became an excellent gardener and created an amazing backyard garden which she tended to daily. Her greatest joy came later in life when she became a MumMum. Her grandchildren where the loves of her life. She would spend countless hours playing with them and enjoyed every minute of it. She was a professional mother, grandmother and life coach to everyone. What she lacked in height, she made up for with her spunk and stubbornness. Her memory up to the time of her death was impeccable. 

Diana is survived by her children, Temple (Tommy) Daniels and Nicholas Faux, grandchildren Bud Daniels, Adeline and Larry Faux. Sisters Patsy (David) Chapman and Vicky Dye and bother-in-law Lee (Venita) Faux, numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews and cousins.

Proceeded in death by her parents, beloved husband Larry, sisters Geneva Doughty and Shirley McDaniel and brother-in-law Emory Faux. 

A private family memorial to be held at a later date. 

In leu of flowers the family requests donations be made to local animal shelters.
