Diana Alexander

Diana Marie Alexander, age 57, passed away peacefully on Monday January 21, 2019 at Kobacker House.

Diana was born October 13, 1961 in Columbus, Ohio to her loving parents Robert and Patricia Alexander.

She was a devoted and loving mother to Jacob, Molly, and Joseph McPeek.  Diana adored her family and cherished her many friends.  She touched many lives with her beauty, grace, and warmth. Her affectionate and tender ways made everyone feel like family.

Diana was a gifted artist and especially loved to paint and sketch portraits of people she loved.  She had a wonderful sense of humor, keen wit, and always brought energy and enthusiasm to any gathering.  She loved life immensely and always sought out new experiences, while encouraging others to live life to the fullest.

Diana’s courage and determination as she faced her own mortality was a beautiful example of how she approached her entire life.  Her children, parents, siblings, and many treasured nieces and nephews loved her deeply and will miss her immensely.

She is survived by her children, Jacob, Molly, and Joseph McPeek; parents Robert and Patricia Alexander; brothers and sisters Robert (Rece) Alexander, David Alexander, Julie (Ken) Hays, Elizabeth (Ron) Urbano, Matthew Alexander, Laura (Gary) Vonderembse, Daniel Alexander, Mary (Mike) Van Meter; twenty-four nieces and nephews; fifteen great-nieces and nephews; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her best canine friend, Cece.

In keeping with Diane’s wish to give back to the environment, there will be a private interment will be at Foxfield Preserve at the Wilderness, 9877 Alabama Ave SW, Wilmot, OH 44689 on Friday, January 25 at 2:00PM.  A celebration of Diana’s life will follow from 6:00 to 8:30 PM at The Market at Flint Station, 225 Park Rd., Columbus, OH 43235.
