Devon Johnson

Devon C Johnson, 38, ended her journey on January 25, 2020, with her family by her side. After fighting many complicated health battles. I will not say that she lost her fight. No, she fought to the end and has crossed the finish line into our mother’s open arms in Heaven.

Devon joined the world September 25, 1981 in Columbus, Ohio. Devon had a contagious laugh and a heart that loved deeply. When Devon set her mind to something, she would push herself to make it happen, especially for a loved one. Devon was always looking for a new interest or hobby and would often lose herself in books and music, cooking and baking. You would often find her surrounded by her niece or nephews, as well as many cousins who all loved her very much. Devon was in the beginning stages of starting her own soap making business. She devoted much of her time and energy through her life taking care of others. Her circle was small, but it was one of quality. Devon is truly irreplaceable as a sister., aunt, cousin and friend. Gone much too soon, she shall not be forgotten. A cluster of memories. Sprinkled with tears. Wishing God had spared you a few more years.

Devon is survived by her brother, Eric Johnson, twin brother, Darnell Johnson and her sister, Torie Johnson, her aunts, Kaye (Tommy) Patterson and Victoria (Raymond) Jackson. She is also survived by siblings, Dominique, Dhameera, and Tiffany. As well as several nieces, nephews and her numerous cousins.
