Derek Crawford

Derek Romel Crawford, 24, died October 9, 2018. He was born June 23, 1994 in Columbus, Ohio. The son of Brenda Crawford and Henry Jones. He attended Columbus City Schools where he effortlessly held honors and graduated from JobCorp.

Derek’s love for cars led him into the auto industry professionally. His personality, expertise and jokes were welcomed by his team members at Byers Subaru where he was employed for four years. Cars, cooking, gaming and music were his pastime activities.

Derek is survived by his parents Brenda Crawford and Henry Jones, siblings Chanel, Sheena, Montana, Nyesha, Kayode and twin sister Jhava. He was adored by his nieces and nephews Levell, Joseph, Kaden, Amira, and Miriam.

Visitation will be begin Tues, Oct 16 12 Noon at the SHAW-DAVIS FUNERAL HOMES, Short North Chapel, 34 W 2nd Ave, Cols, OH 43201. Where funeral will follow at 1:00 pm. Interment Union Cemetery.
