Debra Brodie

A memorial service celebrating the life of Debra E. Brodie, 58, will be held at the Vineyard Church Columbus on Saturday December 16, 2017. The family will receive friends at 10:00 am during visitation and the memorial service will begin at 11:00 am.

Debi passed away unexpectedly on December 6, 2017. She was born on August 18, 1959 in Ashland, Ohio to the late Duane Edwards and Barbara (Sowards) Neisner of Brownstown, Michigan.

A beloved mother, Debi had a huge heart and would help anyone she could. She had a great sense of humor and was very proud of her four children, Tyson, Kristin, Cameron, and Alex. She enjoyed making crafts, playing the guitar, and spending time with her children. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Columbus Community Festival and the Columbus Memorial Golf Tournament.

Debi worked at WPAS and also WCCF/WQLM AM/FM in Punta Gorda, Florida as an on-air personality, Lindsay Brooks. She also worked in the medical field and held numerous retail positions in her career.

In addition to her mother and step-father Jay Neisner, she is survived by her four children, twins Tyson Coombs, and Kristin Coombs, Cameron Brodie and Alex Brodie, sister and brother-in-law Dee and Jeff Groleau, and many cousins and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, Debi is preceded in death by one brother, Steve Edwards of Mt. Vernon.
