David Spohn

We honor David Alden Spohn (October 17, 1953 – April 16, 2025), a graduate of Princeton High School who studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Cincinnati.

David ran a business and loved providing engineering solutions for his customers and being a board member of his HOA community. Throughout his life, he found joy in fishing The Great Lakes and offshore, crafting melodies on his guitar, and showing American Saddlebred horses.

He loved his family, brother Daniel Spohn (Sharon), sister Sharon Weast, nephew Edward Hausgen, niece Alison Hausgen, nephew Andrew Hausgen (Karen), great-niece Gracie Hausgen, and his closest friends. He was preceded in death by father Glenn A. Spohn and mother Mary Bicknell.

His greatest pride was his wife Anna and son Evan, and he did so much to prepare for moving into their new house - we feel great sorrow that he will not be there with us.

Per David’s final request, there will not be a public showing. The family asks that you remember him well in your heart and mind.
