David Wayne Sears

David Sears, 66, passed away on February 17, 2025 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. 

Born October 17, 1958, in London, OH. David was the son of Robert and Nora (Fout) Sears.

David served his country in the United States Army during the early 1980's as an overseas tank mechanic. David was an avid fisherman, hunter, card, and billiards player. About a month before his passing, he was the MVP, leading his pool teammates to a trip to Las Vegas. There was never a person, who would step into the bar scene, that didn't instantly make friends with David. He shared knowledge of the pool table with anyone who would listen and even dabbled in the dart scene for a little while. 

David leaves behind sons, David (Angie) Sears, Robert Sears, and daughter Dawn's Thomas. Numerous grandchildren: Dakota, Blade, Aiden, Arielle, Hailey, and Isabella. Great grandchildren: Jaselynn, Owen, Bella, Layla, and Hayden. Numerous cousins and long-time friends. 

David was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Nora, loving wife of 40 years, Jody (Bishop) Sears, and his uncle Thomas Fout Sr. 

There will be a memorial gathering on March 1st, 2025 at Front Row Sports Bar, 14 W. Main Street., West Jefferson, OH 43162, beginning at 3 pm that day. There will be a collection available to assist the family with end of life costs.
