David Schwertfager

David Schwertfager, age 76, Sunday August 28, 2017 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Former employee of State of Ohio Dept. of Human Services, and an adjunct professor with The Ohio State University School of Social Work. Graduate of Ohio State University and former member of the best damn band in the land. He enjoyed being a part of the OSU alumni band and communicating worldwide via ham radio with call sign N8EFB. He is preceded in death by his wife Judith.  Survived by his sons William & John; grandchildren David and Evan. Family will receive friends Friday from 11-12 noon at THE SHAW-DAVIS FUNERAL HOME 4341 N High St. Cols 43214 where funeral service will directly follow at 12 noon. Interment Union Cemetery.
