David (Elmo) Joseph Loomis Jr

David (Elmo) Joseph Loomis Jr. was born in Columbus, Ohio on February 13, 1965. After a sudden decline in his health, he unexpectedly departed this life on his 59th birthday on February 13, 2024.

David is survived by his loving wife, Beth Loomis, his only daughter, Ashley O'Rourke, and his four sons, David, Joshua, Matthew, and Tyler Loomis, his Son-in-law, Kevin O'Rourke. Known as 'Pepaw' to his six grandsons, Bryce and Ryley O'Rourke, David, Ryan, Michael, and Leo Loomis, and his only granddaughter, Emma Loomis. He is also survived by his father, David Loomis, his stepmother, Pam Loomis, his sister, Mary Friend, his brother, John Loomis, his stepbrother, John Wagner, and many other relatives and friends. David was predeceased by his mother, Mary Loomis, and his brother, Andrew Loomis.

Arrangements are being handled by Shaw-Davis Funeral Home, located at 34 W 2nd Avenue Columbus, Ohio 43201.
