Darrell “D.J.” Roar Jr., age 48, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio completed his earthly journey and went home to be with the Lord on January 3, 2021. He was born on January 3, 1973 in Morehead, Kentucky, where he spent most of his childhood before moving to Columbus, Ohio in 2006.
He was a graduate of Rowan County High School. D.J. was a skilled craftsman and loved wood working, hunting, fishing, target shooting, watching the UK Wildcats basketball, grilling, and he recently became an avid pinochle player. Along with his many hobbies, his greatest joy in life came from spending time with his beloved wife of 12 years, Rachel, and his two beautiful baby girls, Hannah and Rebekah.
D.J. is preceded by in death by his grandparents Clifford and Helen James, Eldon Nolen, and Cledith and Sarah Roar. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Rachel, daughters Hannah and Rebekah, mother Libby (Tracy) Fannin, brother Jonathan (Meri) Fannin, nephew Jack Tracy Fannin, mother and father-in-law Guy and Lisa Lehky, as well a host of other beloved family members and friends.
