VAN DYKE

Darrell James Van Dyke, 60, passed away unexpectedly on April 3rd, 2018. Darrell was born on September 14th, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio and graduated from Westerville South High School in 1976. After high school, he worked as a skilled iron fabricator for the family business, Van Dyke Custom Iron. Darrell loved fishing and deer hunting in his free time. He was a devoted fan of the Cleveland Browns. Darrell is preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Van Dyke. He is survived by his only child Deborah Van Dyke, wife Penny Van Dyke, father Kenneth Van Dyke, brothers Gary (Sandy) Van Dyke, John (Michelle) Van Dyke, and Michael (Susan) Van Dyke, sisters Becca (Joe) Gueulette and Julie (Todd) Krueger, stepchildren Kelly, Jason, and Joey, step grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive family and friends Thursday, April 19 at SHAW DAVIS FUNERAL HOME 4341 N. High St. Cols. 43214 from 6-7 pm with memorial service to follow at 7 pm.
