Darleen Burke

Darleen Burke, 55, went to be with the Lord on April 28, 2019 after a 9 year battle with cancer. She fought it to the very end and passed peacefully into her Savior’s arms while surrounded by family and friends. She is preceded in death by parents Joseph Carney and Chiyoko Nosoko. Darleen is survived by her husband of 31 years Joseph Burke, son Matt Burke, daughters Grace Burke and Kate Burke, siblings Mary Carney of Rochester, NY, Eileen Kipp of Rochester, NY, Pat (Carm) Carney of Rochester, NY, and Diane (Rick) Manning of Gray, TN. Darleen will always be remembered by her family and friends for her generosity, loving spirit, and her never say die attitude.

A memorial service will be held in her honor on Saturday May 4, 2019 at The Warehouse, 600 Oakland Park Ave, Columbus, Oh 43214. The family will receive friends from 3-5 pm with the service beginning at 5 pm and a reception to follow.
