Survived by her husband, Charles Finney, her two sons and two daughters (while married to her first husband, Edwin Huston) and her grandchildren. She adored them all. Sons and Daughters, (Eddie) Huston and fiance, Brandy, Anthony (Tony) and Caitlin Huston, Angela (Josh) Williamson, Kimberly Huston; son by marriage, Chad Finney. Grandchildren, (nicknames by Dede), Jace (Peanut), Sean (Shawny Bear), CJ (Tator), Joshie (Turtle), Morgan (Boomer), Madyson, Michael, Cadence (Tiny), Clayton, Sammi Jo (Sloppy Jo). Brother and Sisters, Richard Clark I, Melody Chapman, and Tammy Scott. Aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also, miss our Dede's presence. There is a void in our family. Her loving boyfriend, John Grim, rarely left her side after her recent back surgery, most recently the many nights he spent on hospital chairs or couch in her room, keeping family updated through out the night and early morning hours when we weren't there, and by her side after she left the hospital. She was never alone since her recent stroke and diagnoses of stage four cancer. Hospice caregivers gave her 24/7 home care. We thank you. Thank you to Pastor Sam McCoy and his wife, Kelly, for their service and prayers. Also, for the Harley Ride "Final Ride For Dede" tribute planned. Dede was young at heart and lived in the moment. She was actually a very good artist, loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was fun and made you laugh even when life was tough. Her family and animals always came first. She had various employments throughout her life and had once dreamed of becoming a veterinarian or nursing assistant, even after multiple back surgeries and was in pain often later in life. However, no one, no job, no school, and no pain could stop her if an animal or family called on her to help. She was there to give what she could. Then the call came for her. This time it was from heaven. A memorial and tribute to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, December 5, 2015 3-6 p.m. at the Westerville Senior Center, 310 West Main Street Westerville, OH 43081.
