Dana Edward Brush died Monday March 23, 2020 at his home in the Willow Brook Christian Village. He was 87 years old.
Dana was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1932 to Earl and Lillian Brush.
Following high school, he served in the US Air Force as a sergeant during the Korean War. After the service and some education at Ohio State University he got married and began a career at NCR which lasted 40 years until his retirement. He served 20 of those years as a regional service manager.
Dana was active in the community and a registered baseball umpire where he umped for colleges and local area high schools. He loved the Lord Jesus Christ and was a member of Worthington Christian Church. Dana loved having fun and had a large personality. His laugh was infectious, and he had no trouble speaking his mind. He was an avid golfer. He belonged to the York Golf Club for many years along with his wife and got to travel around the country playing different courses.
Dana was preceded in death by his first wife Donna Jean Brush, twin brother David Brush, and his stepson, Bryan.
Dana is survived by his loving wife Shirly Stockslager Brush; his daughter Kathleen and her husband Richard; his stepdaughter Susan and her husband Pat;
his stepson William and his wife Kim; his grandchildren Jennifer, Joshua, Megan, Clayton, Jessi, Olivia, Savanah, Alexis; and 8 great grandchildren.
Services are pending due to the COVID-19 crisis.
