Dale Earl Shifflet

Dale Earl Shifflet, 67, passed away on September 17, 2022, at his home in Powell, Ohio. Dale was born on February 18, 1955, in Columbus, Ohio.

Dale was a lighthearted and free-spirited man who liked going fishing and watching NASCAR and football. He was skilled in many trades, but he especially loved working on cars. He enjoyed cold beer and good music and could always be counted on to lift your spirit. He loved his children and family and he and his son, Jonathan, were inseparable.

To him, the sky was the limit and he never let anything bring him down. Our best memories will include his infectious laugh.

Dale is survived by his children, Heather Shifflet and Jonathan (Alysia) Shifflet, and his 9 grandchildren, as well as his brothers and sisters John Shifflet, Lois (Jim) Flint, Rocky (Sue) Shifflet, Phyllis Cupp, Juanita (Larry) Cravener, Gloria (Brian) Frazier, Roger (Cindy) Shifflet, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved him dearly. Dale is proceeded in death by his parents Roscoe Shifflet and Alice (Byas) Shifflet, brothers Dwight Shifflet and Danny Shifflet and sister Alma Marcum.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at 11:00 am at Shaw-Davis Funeral Home located at 4341 N High St, Columbus, Ohio 43214 with burial at Mifflin Township Cemetery in Gahanna, Ohio following immediately.
