Dale Queen
February 23, 1933 — October 29, 2015
QUEEN
Dale E. Queen of Columbus died Thursday in the Laurels of Norworth Nursing Home. Born in South Vienna Ohio, son of the late Chester Queen and Bernice Queen. He was an Army veteran, where he was a certified Mechanic with the Forty Ninth Airborne Engineer Battalion 101st Airborne Infantry Division. He also served the NATO Peace Treaty in Germany. He was an ordained Minister of the Universal Free Church. Dale was a loving and devoted father and grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. The family would like to thank the staff at The Laurels of Norworth and the Home Reach Hospice Staff for the kindness and compassion shown to Dale. He was preceded in death by a son, James D Queen. Surviving are one daughter, Mindy S. Hemsworth and son Daniel J. Queen. Five grandchildren, Robert A. Hemsworth, Timothy J. Hemsworth, Crystal D. Hemsworth, Micheal R. Hemsworth, Zachery D. Hemsworth as well as Five Great Grand Children.
