Cynthia Mauller

Cynthia R. Mauller (Cass) died peacefully at Mount Carmel East on May 29, 2016 in Columbus, Ohio at the age of 56. Cyndi is survived by her parents, Clifford Wayne and Gerri Cass of Heath, Ohio; children, Joshua (Megan) Mauller of Newark, Ohio, Gabriel (Larissa) Mauller of Heath, Ohio; and brother, Clifford Randy (Debbie) Cass of Alexandria, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her daughter Amber Nicole Mauller. Cyndi was born on September 24, 1959 in Newark, Ohio to Clifford Wayne and Gerri Cass. She graduated from Heath High School in 1978 and then attended Ohio Valley University and graduated with her associates. In 2006 she received a Bachelors of Business Administration from Mount Vernon Nazarene University; in 2009 she received a Masters of Science in Management from Mount Vernon Nazarene University, and in 2010 received a Masters of Business Administration from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. During her time on this earth Cyndi held several positions ranging from Stay at Home Mom to School Nurse to Administrative Assistant. Her favorite position was that of Mother. Cyndi taught her children many things during the years they were blessed with her, but nothing more important than to have faith in Christ and to lean on the Word of the Lord. She set a good foundation that her children will stand on for the rest of their lives. They will remember her as a kind, gentle, and patient servant of Christ. Cyndi was an excellent singer and loved to use her talent as a way to praise God and comfort her children when they were young. She was a kind-hearted individual who loved spending time with her friends and family. She was an active and dedicated member of Sunbury Christian Church in Sunbury, Ohio. Calling hours are scheduled for Friday June 3rd from 6:00pm-8:00pm and Saturday June 4th from 5:00pm-6:00pm at Sunbury Christian Church (250 Rainbow Ave. Sunbury, Ohio 43074). A Celebration of Life service will follow the calling hours on Saturday. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Cyndi's life.
