Craig passed away unexpectedly June 10, 2022. He was born in Columbus, Ohio to John and Nancy Murphy on June 30, 1971. At the age of 2 his family moved to Westerville where he attended Cherrington Elementary, Hanby Middle School, Blendon Middle School and Westerville South. When he was 21 he moved to Florida and loved it. , he stayed there until 2014 he moved back to Westerville. He was in an Automobile accident while there and was eventually considered disabled due to his injuries.
Craig always enjoyed a good time, he could be considered "the class clown" He loved making up jokes. He always loved to read, listen to music (Grateful Dead, yeah he was a Dead Head and saw them many times) and Movies. If you ever couldn't think of a movie or a song someone would say "call Craig, he'll know". He grew up camping and fishing and still loved it. He loved his rescue dog Lucy and his cats, Screech and Pug Face. He had a plethora (his favorite word, before you ever heard it much) of friends. He Loved his family and friends more than anyone knows.
Craig is survived by his parents, John and Nancy Murphy, Brother, Scott (Tammy), Sister, Amy (Shawn), Son, Mike, Nephews, Travis, and Keagan, and Nieces, Alaina and Chloe, his former wife, Debbie. An Uncle, several Aunts and cousins. Plus two very special friends that we considered family, Kevin McKitrick and Max Watson. There are no words that can explain how much he was loved and will be missed.
