Christopher Pifer

Christopher Heath Pifer, age 31, left this earth on May 29, 2018 Born on November 13, 1986 in Jacksonville Florida, Chris spent his early years in sand and surf. After moving to Columbus Ohio, he learned and loved the game of hockey. If he wasnt on the ice playing the game, he would be watching his favorite team, the Detroit Red Wings. Anyone who ever knew Chris experienced his sweet soul. He was a warm and caring man who always had great reccomendations on movies and music. Academically and personally he studied many subjects including art, music, history and travel. He had  a great admiration for  Russian culture, was studying the language and dreamt of traveling to the largest country on this world. Chris is survived by his son Dayton Christopher, his sister Chelsea Marie; parents Melanie (Rick) Adams and Christopher (Deirdre) Pifer; grandmother Nancy Jane Campbell and grandfather Charles (Dottie) Pifer; uncles Chuck and Danny, cousins Sara, Aric, Chuck and Katie; aunt Joy (Rick), uncle Larry (Carol); cousins Kurt, Veronica, Carrie and Brian and many wonderful friends.

Visitation Monday, June 4, 2018 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. at the Shaw-Davis Funeral Home, 4341 N High St. Columbus, OH 43214. Graveside service to follow at 2:30 pm at the Green Hill Cemetery in Johnstown, OH.
