To Chris:
I once knew a man
Who was the very definition of charismatic Full of life And energy A heart as big as the sun He shone brightly And engulfed people in his warmth He knew the ins and outs of society
And took pride in his relationships
Sass was his middle name
But a sass you couldn’t help but love
Endearing
And insightful
He enjoyed the philosophical
Topics of life
And enjoyed conversing on them
Always there to listen
Whenever someone needed an ear
And with a heart full of empathy
He responded with grace
And if he was here with us now
I know he would chuckle
And smile
Saying well i told you so
For he knew things
We did not
For he was in-tune to the spiritual world
And knew all its signs
That no one seemed to notice
But he did
His soul knew
Of their significance
And now with a soul at peace
He shares the signs with us
That he was so deeply in-tuned to
