Christopher W. Custer of Upper Arlington peacefully passed away on August 24, 2021 in Ohio State University Hospital. Chris was born in Lancaster on July 23, 1975. He was known for his big heart, his extreme kindness and his occasional and endearing goofy moments. He had many interests from enjoying the outdoors to being an avid reader. Chris never met a used car he could not unfix. He loved his children and was a proud father. Chris is survived by his mother Michelle, and his stepfather Michael Valentine of Upper Arlington , his 3 children, daughters Kassidy (Jacob) Coey and Ella Custer of Glouster, Ohio, Corbin Custer in the U. S. Marine Corp, grandson Gabriel and his partner in life, Kim Taylor of Circleville, step sisters, Hilary Valentine of Joseph Oregon, Kristen (Chad) Felix or Dallas, Georgia, nephews Skyler, Devlin and Avery Felix as well as many, many great friends. He is preceded in death by his father Christopher M. Custer, his maternal grandmother Margaret Jean Cooney and great friend Kyle Sounders. There will be a Celebration of Life September 7 from 4:00 to 7:00 at Rising Park Shelter House in Lancaster, Ohio. For unvaccinated guests, we respectfully request that you wear a mask.
