Christopher “Chris” Musard, 52, passed away unexpectedly on February 27, 2024.
Born on August 4th, 1971 in Warner Robbins, Georgia, Chris lived in many places in the US as well as Crete, Greece and settled in Columbus, Ohio to attend The Ohio State University and remained until his death.
Chris was widely loved and everyone he met was a friend. He loved to experience life through movies, music, cooking, food, and sharing those passions with others. A kind and intelligent man, he was able to strike up a conversation with anyone and make them feel special. Always one to help anyone, he was a kind, soft-hearted funny man who loved with his whole heart. He was particularly compassionate towards animals and would take in and care for as many animals as his wife would allow. Chris also loved to take a road trip and “make the trip a trip” to find delicious things to eat, explore new cities and really live life to the fullest. He truly left a mark on the world through friendship and fun.
Chris is survived by his wife, Jess, daughter Chloe, daughter in law Max, a large extended family, countless friends, a beloved dog, Mitzy and cat, Pistachio. He is preceded in death by his mother Susan, father Henry, and brother Alec.
A celebration of Chris’ life will be held at Shaw-Davis Funeral home at 4341 North High Street in Columbus, Ohio on Saturday, March 9th, 2024 from 11AM-1PM. It will be a casual gathering, a time to hang out with Chris one last time and share stories and memories.
In lieu of flowers, his family asks that donations be made in honor of Chris to the Franklin County Animal Shelter in Columbus, Ohio.
