Chet Harris

Chet Douglas Harris, 57, a resident of West Jefferson, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at his mothers home in Columbus, Ohio surrounded by his family. Born in Columbus, Ohio on August 26, 1963 to E. Lavonne Harris and the late Carl Andrew Harris. Preceeded in death is his father, Carl (2014) and is his daughter Kari Harris (2003), she was always on his mind and in his heart. Chet is lovingly survived by his wife of 12 years, Andreana (Lindsey) Harris and his son Carl Harris: Granddaughter, Serenity. Close Siblings: Carla (Wayne) McCloud, Caryn (Wallace) McDonald, Craig (Sondie), and Chris (Sandy). Stepdaughter Heather Collason, Stepdaughter Jessica (Trevor) Fortin and their daughter, Frankie Jean. Chet is also survived by many nieces, nephews. whom he loved dearly. Chet was retired from the Franklin County Deputies Office, he loved to fish and if he wasn't golfing at National Road Golf Course in West Jefferson, Ohio, he was often there offering his time to assist where ever needed. He never knew a stranger and would not hesitate to help a friend. Per Chet's wishes there will not be any services. He will be cremated this week at the Shaw-Davis Funeral Home, Columbus, Ohio.
