MESSER ARTRIP

Cherry Lynn Messer Artrip, 48, of Columbus, Ohio passed away August 13th, 2015. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 10th 1967. She is preceded in death by her parents Goldie Huston and Roderick Huston. Cherry is survived by her husband, Sherman Artrip; sisters Candee Messer and Katherine Miller; brother Michael Huston; Children Shawn, Anthony, Michael, Matthew, Tommy, Misty and Garrett. Cherry also had very many in-laws including, Roy and Connie fuller, Jake and Diane Artrip and Pete Artrip.  Cherry had a very big heart and would do whatever she could to help people. She loved to laugh and make jokes all the time. Some of her best memories include going to the beach and having cook outs. If you talked to cherry regularly you knew she loved being called granny. Her grandson meant the world to her. Cherry was a wonderful woman heading down the right path, unfortunately she was taken too soon. Her memories will forever be in our hearts and she will never be forgotten. A visitation will be held Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 6:00 - 7:30 pm at the SHAW-DAVIS FUNERAL HOMES, Short North Chapel, 34 West 2nd Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43201. Where a funeral service for Cherry will follow at 7:30 pm.
