Chelsey Marie Ewald

Chelsey Marie Ewald met Jesus on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 in her home. After a two and a half year battle with breast cancer. She fought like a true warrior. She never gave up and tried everything to beat it for her babies. In the end cancer did not win, God did. Chelsey was born to Jim and Heidi Ewald on February 12, 1988, in Kenton, Ohio. Chelsey is survived by her fiance' Garrett Everetts, her four children, Cayleb, Kaelyn, Myla, and Elijah. Her furbaby Nala. Her mother Heidi (Rick Poteat). Her father James (Stella Ewald). Her sister Eryn (Josh Cain) and their childern Hudson, Greyson, and Spencer. Her brother Kyle (Lindsay Ewald) and their children Tucker, and Sawyer. Her grandmother Kay Lay. Her grandfather Bill and grandmother Carly Glaser. And many other family members. 

Chelsey is most remembered by her gracious heart that is bigger than the moon. Her compassion and extraordinary empathy. Her absolutely captivating, warm smile. Her breathtaking rainbow colored eyes. Her inexhaustible strength, faith, grace and hope. Chelsey is Mama bear. As fierce of a mother as it gets. She is a light for so many people. She is a priceless irreplaceable gift from our Father that most people don’t ever get in their entire lifetime. There is absolutely no doubt or question but that Chelsey’s vibrant, beautiful and loving spirit lives on, through her children. What a joy and a blessing to behold! 

Chelsey enjoyed music, dancing, and singing. She loved laughing and making people laugh. Her greatest hobby was giving herself away to help others. Exuding grace. Spreading the Love of Jesus to as many people as she could reach. Giving free hugs on the street as often as she could. In short there is no amount of words to sum up this woman. She was truly one of a kind.

Chelsey impacted so many lives and will be greatly missed. Her loved ones all look forward to seeing her again in paradise.
