Charles Roberts

Charles Holmes Roberts, age 96, went home to join his wife with the Lord on July 7, 2018. Charles was known to family and friends as Bud. Bud was born to a big country family in 1922. At about age 22 he married the love of his life and spent 56 years with her.  In early years Charles worked as a coal miner and had various other jobs. Bud and Pauline moved their little family to Columbus Ohio in 1953. Here in Columbus area Bud worked at North American and he went on to his career at Ohio Commercial door where he retired in about 1983. Bud worked hard and did honest work to support and take care of his family.

Bud and Pauline enjoyed country music, wrestling, gardening and canning, having cook outs and camping with family and attending church.  Charles is survived by his daughters Jo Ann and Paula and his sister Edna, as well as his grandchildren; Stephanie, Jason (Renee) , Dillon, Courtney, Alexis, and Lillianna, Also nieces, nephews and other family. Charles is proceeded in death  by his mother and father, Belle and Alexander. His beloved sweet wife Martha Pauline and numerous brothers and sisters.In the later years Charles loved camping, riding his four wheeler and visiting with friends and family.
