Charles Passwater

Passwater, Charles Richard “Rick” born in Zanesville OH on December 3, 1967 and passed away peacefully on All Saints Day, November 1, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. For two and a half years he battled the disease and continued to golf and work everyday (in that order). Rick was a graduate of both Bishop Rosecrans (1986) and Ohio Dominican College (1992). In 2005 he purchased a vending machine route and named it JeCait Vending after his greatest achievements, his daughters. Along his route he gained many beloved friendships with the staff and clients at his locations. Rick also found time to golf a little and recorded 3 hole-in-ones over the years. On a sunny, windless day of 50 degrees or more, you could find him out on a golf course with his golfing buddies year-round. Rick also enjoyed traveling with his family to several places such as Sandbridge beach, fishing trips to Canada, and to his favorite place, Notre Dame University ,where he always felt a spiritual connection. Preceded in death by his mother, Sandy, Rick is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Theresa, daughters Jessica Catherine and Caitlin Reilly, his brother JD (Stefanie), as well as aunts and uncles that treated him like their own son, cousins Skylar (Chris) Blannin and Sean (Samantha) Hutcheson and several neices and nephews. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St Timothy Catholic Church, 1070 Thomas Lane, Columbus on Saturday November 10, 2018 at 10:30am with celebrant Monsignor Romano Ciotola.
