Charlene Ellis

Esther “Charlene” Ellis passed away peacefully 11/22/18 at Worthington Christian Village where she resided with her husband Bob.  She was born in New Boston, Ohio and graduated from Wheelersburg H.S. and Bliss College.  She and Bob were active members of Beechwold Christian Church in Friendship Class, Senior Group, and Grow Groups and had many friends there.  She also enjoyed painting, crafts, Garden Club and Bridge Club. She is preceded in death by her parents Dewey and Chloe Hobson, Brothers Homer and sister-in-law Marvalene Hobson and Jack Hobson. She is survived by her husband Robert E. Ellis, son Robert S. Ellis, Daughter Kathy Bonnette (Steve), Granddaughter Kristin Bonnette, sister-in-law Nancy Hobson of FL, cousins and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on December 15th at 10 am with service starting at 11 am at  BEECHWOLD CHRISTIAN CHURCH  280 Morse Rd. Columbus, OH 43214. In Lieu of flowers, Donations can be made to Worthington Christian Village or the Alzheimer’s Association.
