Cathy Sanchez

Cathy Ann Sanchez (Zix), age 58, died peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on November 23, 2016. Cathy was born to the late Barbara and John Zix on October 11th 1958. She fought a hard fight against pancreatic cancer for 10 months. Even during her battle, she took care of everyone around her. She was a loving sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She was funny, smart, caring, creative and brought a smile to everyone who met her. She made homemade costumes, showed her love with home cooked meals and rarely missed a day of work.

Through her life, she worked in many kitchens in nursing homes but her work didn't stop with the food she cooked. She always knew the residents she cooked for and made friends with everyone she could. She touch so many lives and we will never stop missing her.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Sanchez, children Christina Alicardi (Matt), Travis (Sarah) and Marco (Alana) and grandson Aidan Morgan. She is also survived by her sister Linda Lemanski and her husband Willie, her brothers Tim Zix and his wife Ellen and Jim Zix and his wife Liz.
