Carrie Barnard McDonald, born February 3, 1967 went to be with the Lord September 7, 2023.

Carrie was preceded in death by her parents, L. Wayne and Mercedes Barnard of Canton, OH, and father-in-law Donald Lee McDonald of Falmouth,Ky.

Carrie is survived by husband Anthony Jay McDonald of Columbus, OH; daughter Mary Grace McDonald of Columbus, OH; son Mark Lee Wayne McDonald of Columbus, OH; siblings Audrey (Gerald) Jett of Union, KY, Diane (Mark) Lehn of Dunlap, IL, Sarah Barnard of Raleigh, NC, Valerie (Michael) Ashcraft of Pickerington, OH & Kimi Snow Kiser of Columbus, OH; mother-in-law Floride McDonald of Falmouth,Ky; sister-in-law Dawn Renee (Thomas) Bailey; nephews Brandon Jett, Garrison Jett, Timothy Lehn, Samuel Lehn & Kyle Bailey, and her loving fur babies Zelda & Oscarfella.

A special thank you to Roger Muncy and Kimi Snow Kiser for opening their home to Carrie and the McDonald family, New Faith Church for providing meals, and a big thanks to family & friends for visiting with Carrie.

Funeral services to be held Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 11:30am at New Faith Church, 6700 Thrush Dr., Canal Winchester, OH 43110. Pastor Richard Vinson to officiate. Lunch provided after service. Please wear purple in honor of Carrie.
