Carolyn Heskett

HESKETT

Carolyn Myers Heskett was born September 27, 1933 in Putnam County, Ohio to Ray and Marcella Myers.  She passed away September 9, 2015 in Worthington, Ohio.  She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Benjamin Heskett, her children Diane (Michael) Snow, Carol ( Jack) Frisby and John (Danielle) Heskett.  She was a loving grandmother to ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Carolyn was a graduate of the Ohio State University in Music Education.  She taught music privately and directed choral groups in several churches throughout her life and career.  She was a member of Ohio Music Teacher's Association, Delta Zeta and Worthington Christian Church. She was an inspiration to all who knew her for her devotion to God, her Christian faith, her family and many others.  She was a kind, loving, encouraging and generous wife, mother, aunt, teacher and friend.  She will be greatly missed. Visitation will be at SHAW-DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, 4341 N. High Street, Sunday September 13 from 4 to 7pm.  Services will be at WORTHINGTON CHRISTIAN CHURCH, 8145 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio on Monday September 14 at 10am with graveside service at Ebenezer Cemetery, Bethesda, Ohio at 2pm.
