Carol Triplett

Carol S. Triplett, age 62, of Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully, Tuesday May 25th at Wexner Heritage Village Hospice facility in Bexley, Ohio. She was born March 12, 1959 in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Mary E. (Haley) Triplett and Robert S. Triplett.

She was a graduate of Bellefontaine High School in Bellefontaine, Ohio and Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio. Carol was a career employee of WBNS-TV where she worked for 35 years, retiring in 2020 as manager of the commercial broadcast traffic department. Carol loved traveling, watching many sports and family activities. She was an avid reader and enjoyed outings with her friends and work associates. She was known for her caring nature and sense of humor. She loved to laugh and share childhood stories.

Carol is survived by brothers Jeffery Triplett of Columbus, Ohio, Douglas Triplett of Pickerington, Ohio, and Robert Triplett, Jr. of San Diego, CA, sisters Mary Hashem of Indianapolis, IN and Nancy Detrick of Tampa, Florida.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Gregory, sister Teresa, and niece Holly Triplett.

In following Carol's wishes there will be no visitation hours. There will be a celebration of her life planned at a later date. Details will be shared with friends and family when plans are finalized.
