Carl Quaintance

Carl L. Quaintance, age 82 of Johnstown, Ohio, passed away on October 26, 2019, at Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio.

He was born on May 12, 1937, in Gibsonburg, Ohio to the late Curtice and Margaret (Carl) Quaintance.  He graduated from Gibsonburg High School in 1956.  Carl went on to attend The Ohio State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1960.

Carl is survived by his beloved canine companion, Buddy, many nieces and nephews, and quality friends.

He was a preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Robert, Paul, and James, and sister, Virginia Fisher.

A funeral mass will be held on November 2, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Columbus with Fr. Dooley officiating.  A graveside Catholic committal service will be held on November 7, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery, Fremont, Ohio with Deacon Jim Hammer officiating.

The family wishes to extend their appreciation to the staff of Kobacker House for their great care in Carl’s last days.
