Dr. Carl A. Miller, 53, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2016, at Riverside Hospital. Son of the late Roger A. Miller, Carl is survived by his beloved mother, Britta L. Miller of Columbus, sister Marjorie A. Miller of Worthington, brother Ronald Miller of Columbus, his best friend and soul mate, Pamela Rodgers of Columbus, Ohio, and his kitty, Chupacabra. Carl was 1982 Class President and graduate of Whetstone High School and went on to obtain his bachelor's degree from Otterbein College, his master's degree from Wright State University, and his doctorate from the University of Toledo. He spent the majority of his career providing counseling and support to inmates throughout the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections as well as dedicating years of volunteer work to the Zeta Phi Fraternity House at Otterbein College. Carl's loving, caring and compassionate personality touched so many lives and he will forever be remembered as an incredible son, brother, friend, and soul mate. A private celebration of Carl's life will be held for friends and family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ohio Health Hospice or Cat Welfare of Columbus, Ohio.
