On April 27, 2023, Brian T. Morris of Columbus, Ohio was called home to be with the Lord at age 49.
Brian grew up in Columbus, where his friends were family, and his family members were also close friends. Brian attended Independence High School and took courses at Columbus State Community College. Brian was a gifted, vivid story teller, an entertaining conversationalist, and could talk with people from all walks of life. He had a great sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. He was quick-witted, extremely clever, and often described as “hilarious.”
He was a proud member of Raider Nation and had intense passion for all things Raiders football. Brian’s other pastimes and interests included Star Wars, cars, keeping up on all sports, and staying connected to Christianity and Bible study throughout his life.
He loved his children, Kaleb and Brianna, very dearly.
Brian often shared fond memories of long summer breaks spent in the hills of West Virginia with family.
Brian will be greeted home by many loved ones that have passed on before him. Brian is remembered and survived by his children Brianna and Kaleb, his father Lindsey, Jr., his aunt Donna (Phil) Bolon and close cousins Tonia Buckholz, Shawne Bolon, and Jonathan Bolon, his aunt Veronica (Dan) Wilson and cousins Bob and Jason, his uncle Michael, step-siblings, and other friends and family members.
Brian will be laid to rest alongside family in Pine Grove Cemetery in Leon, West Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the YMCA in Brian’s honor. You may donate directly in honor of Brian via the following link created through the Y’s fundraising platform: https://www.classy.org/fundraiser/4715354
